Hey there!

I’m sure you’re wondering who Alek Burley is, so I am here to tell you. I am from a little town in the state of Washington, but I am currently living in the heart of the desert in Phoenix, Arizona while I obtain my bachelors degree in communications at Grand Canyon University.

I have always had a passion for videography. At the age of 18, I was asked to use my talents overseas on various mission trips to Africa and India. After traveling, I further pursued videography by working weddings and creating content for several companies in the Phoeinx and Seattle area. I now work for the Grand Canyon University Athletics Department as a student videographer and editor. My role consists of capturing footage for all their Division 1 sports teams, creating highlights, recaps, and hype videos.

Besides creating content, you can also find me eating the biggest Chipotle burrito I can manage, playing basketball at my local gym, or cheering on every Seattle sports team (lets be honest, I’m stressing most of the time!)

Throughout all of my experiences, I have learned the impact that digital media has and the importance to always be creating.
